carrying out inspections of the organization of the work of magistrates of the Republic of Tatarstan for the purpose of rendering practical and methodological assistance to the staff of magistrates' offices on the questions of conducting court records and the work of the archive;

organization and conduct of conferences, meetings, seminars of magistrates and their staff;

the organization of professional retraining for the first time elected to the position of justices of the peace, upgrading the qualifications of magistrates and their staff;

consideration of applications of citizens and organizations within the competence of the department;

the exercise of other powers vested in the department by the minister and the deputy minister.
