Announcement of the acceptance of applications for participation in the «Lawyer of the Year» legal award of the Republic of Tatarstan

The Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian public organization «Association of lawyers of Russia» announces the opening of applications for participation in the «Lawyer of the Year» annual legal award of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will be held in November 2019.

The «Lawyer of the Year» legal award of the Republic of Tatarstan is recognition of the merits of highly qualified lawyers of the Republic of Tatarstan and was established by the Council of the All-Russian public organization «Association of lawyers of Russia».

The objectives of the award: increasing the status and prestige of the lawyer profession, the level of professionalism in the community of lawyers, the identification of highly qualified specialists and the formation of a legal culture.

Persons carrying out socially significant activities in the field of human and civil rights protection, legal science, legal education, law-making, as well as in other areas of the legal activity of the Republic of Tatarstan may be nominated for the receipt of it.

The «Lawyer of the Year» award is given in the next categories:

«Legal education»;

«Justice»;

«Devotion to the legal profession»;

«Providing free legal assistance»;

«Protection of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen»;

«Ensuring the rule of law».

The submission for the nomination of a candidate for nominating and the materials attached to it are referred to the Office of the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian public organization «Association of lawyers of Russia» (Kazan city,       K. Nasyri St., 28, tel. (843) 203-57-97) until September 30th, 2019.
