The winner of the Republican Award named after G. R. Derzhavin in the field of jurisprudence has been announced in Tatarstan
Today, on the 279th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding statesman and great Russian poet Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin, a number of festive events were held in Kazan and Laishevo.
The holiday began with the laying of flowers at the monument to Derzhavin in the Lyadsky Garden of Kazan. The ceremony was attended by First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Ainur Galimov, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Damir Natfullin, the leadership of the Union of Writers of Russia and the Republic of Tatarstan.
Later, in the homeland of Gavriil Derzhavin in Laishevo, the awarding of the winners of the Republican Prize named after G.R. Derzhavin in the field of jurisprudence took place with the participation of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin and the head of the Laishevsky district Ildus Zaripov.
According to the results of a secret ballot, the winner of the Derzhavin Prize in the field of jurisprudence was determined Doctor of Law, Head of the Criminal Procedure Department of the Kazan Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Elizaveta Demidova-Petrova for the monograph "Juvenile delinquency in modern Russia: issues of study and prevention".
"I express my gratitude to all the candidates who have put forward their works for the award. I am sure that all the works will find practical application, and the scientific discoveries of the authors will contribute to the development of civil legal awareness and serve to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens," Rustem Zagidullin said.
