Meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan

A meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Ainur Galimov was held under the state program "Implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015-2024" chaired by Anas Gataullin. The agenda included six questions.

 

Azat Khusaenov, Acting Head of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan, made a report on the interaction between the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan and a branch of the State Foundation for the Support of Participants of the Special Military Operation "Defenders of the Homeland".

 

As Azat Faatovich informed, the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan and the State Fund of Support of Participants of the Special Military Operation "Defenders of the Fatherland" in the Republic of Tatarstan signed an Agreement on Cooperation. The parties within their competence will provide free legal assistance to participants of the special military operation, members of their families, as well as to hold events within the framework of legal education for these categories of citizens.

"According to the Agreement, citizens are received weekly. People come to us for legal assistance on all issues of civil law. We find answers to all questions. We give oral consultations and prepare legal documents," said Azat Khusaenov.

 

Head of the Personnel and Civil Service Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Tatiana Latiyeva briefed the attendees on implementation of the Ministry's anti-corruption policy in 2015-2025 in the first quarter of 2023. Tatyana Yurievna noted that the Ministry carries out systematic work on implementation of the anti-corruption policy, which is aimed at reducing the causes and conditions that give rise to corruption, and at involvement of employees of the Ministry of Justice in the implementation of anti-corruption policy.

 

Traditionally, as part of anti-corruption work with the employees of the structural subdivisions of the Ministry, who go on inspections, there was an instruction on

 

Preventing the appearance of a conflict of interest and its settlement;

behavior in situations posing corruption risks;

compliance with the restrictions, prohibitions and rules of official conduct established by law, against signature and recorded in the relevant instruction log.

In the first quarter of 2023, six people were instructed during inspections.
