The Spartakiad of civil servants of the Republic of Tatarstan in chess has ended
20 teams of ministries and departments of the Republic of Tatarstan competed in the large chess hall on the basis of the Republican Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in chess, checkers, GO named after R.G.Nezhmetdinov.
The team consisting of 4 people, civil servants of the Ministry of Justice: Ilfat Mingalimov, Elena Gavrilenko, Bulat Khusainov and Elsa Khabibullina - played 9 games and took 13th place in the overall standings.
«The games turned out to be very interesting. We participate in games every year, chess fosters perseverance and perseverance, develops patience and concentration, which is generally important for working in the civil service. We won some games, lost some. The opponents were really worthy», - Ilfat Mingalimov shared.
The 2024 Spartakiad, which takes place within the framework of the federal project «Sport is the norm of life» of the national project «Demography», started on February 18 with cross–country skiing competitions. 72 people from 18 teams took part in the races. Chess is the second type of program, ahead there are competitions in basketball, athletics, swimming, mini-football, table tennis, badminton, volleyball. All of them will be held before the end of the year, revealing the winner of the Spartakiad in the team championship.
