Today, during a working visit to Yelabuga, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin met with the district's labor collectives. The main topic was the discussion of the results of the socio-economic development of the Yelabuga municipal district and the republic. In addition, the upcoming elections of deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on September 8 were discussed. It was noted that these elections are of the utmost socio-political importance for the republic, as they will determine the development paths of Tatarstan for the next five years.
In his speech, Rustem Zagidullin spoke about the successes of Tatarstan last year, achieved through the joint efforts of cities and districts. In particular, he noted that thanks to the coordinated activities of enterprises, the development of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the implementation of state support measures, national projects and republican programs, the quality of life of Tatarstan residents is steadily improving.
The Minister reported that despite the relatively small area of Tatarstan, which is only 0.4% of the territory of Russia, the republic occupies a leading position in many economic indicators.
The Minister placed special emphasis on the fact that the republic systematically increases the volume of raw material processing, reducing its sale in unprocessed form and expanding its processing into finished products.
«The successful development of our economy is the combined result of all the cities and districts of the republic, each work collective and each of us makes a contribution», - he added.
During the working visit, the Minister took part in citizens' meetings of three rural settlements of the district.
