The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with representatives of the anti-corruption Department of the Sverdlovsk region. The event was held under the leadership of the Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin, with the participation of representatives of the Tatarstan Rais Office on anti-corruption policy, the Executive committee of the city of Kazan and the Center for public procedures «Business against corruption».
The delegation included the Deputy Director of the Department - Head of the Department for control over compliance with anti-corruption norms Valentina Berseneva and the consultant of the Department for monitoring and methodological work Maria Sapegina.
Welcoming his colleagues, Minister Rustem Zagidullin noted that they were glad to see them in the republic, and emphasized the importance of exchanging experience for a more accurate assessment of their own activities and understanding the main trends in the field of combating corruption.
The Head of the Department for the organization of free legal assistance and planning Ilfat Mingalimov spoke about the work of the republican structures in this area, as well as about methods for preventing corrupt behavior in the republic. He emphasized that the main document that forms the planned activity on corruption prevention in the Republic of Tatarstan is the state program «Implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan».
As part of the visit, the guests also visited the museum of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, the exposition of which is dedicated to the main stages of the formation and development of justice in the republic. The delegates got acquainted with the exposition with great interest and expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry for opening the history of the formation of the Ministry of Justice of the republic and the warm welcome.
It is important to note that the activities aimed at combating corruption correspond to the goals and objectives of the national project «Demography» in the field of preserving the well-being of people.
