A meeting was held at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan to discuss the implementation of the automated information system «Kodeks» by the republic's public authorities. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister Mukharryam Ibyatov.
As Raliya Garifullina, head of the department of legal work in local government and management of the municipal register, stated in her speech, the «Kodeks» system, which has been operating in the republic since 2018, automates the legal analysis of the republic's regulatory legal acts and assists in the timely response to legislative changes.
According to the data presented, over the entire period of the system's operation, non-compliance with the law has been identified in more than 45 thousands acts in the republic, the vast majority of which – 43 668 – were municipal acts. «As of April 1, local governments had corrected discrepancies in 40 thousands acts, accounting for 94% of the identified violations», - Raliya Rasykhovna clarified.
At the same time, the percentage of discrepancies corrected in acts by state authorities reached 74%. Overall, the republic's indicator has increased by 2% compared to the beginning of the year.
The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan continuously monitors the correction of discrepancies identified by the system, and the results are sent monthly to municipalities for appropriate action.
Deputy Minister of Justice Mukharryam Mansurovich emphasized the importance of promptly correcting violations: «Regulatory legal acts are used daily by the population, and their discrepancies with the law can cause difficulties in law enforcement. - he explained. - Responsible officials must pay special attention to this work and prevent an increase in the number of discrepancies in acts».
