In 2025, in accordance with the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation, it is planned to create a federal state information system «Legal assistance». This will be a new stage in the implementation of digital solutions in the institution of free legal assistance. This was announced by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin at the final board meeting of the Ministry.
Tatarstan is a pilot region for testing the Unified state portal of legal education and free legal assistance «Vprave.RF». The portal already contains 255 different life situations, allowing the user to independently understand various legal issues affecting, for example, pension provision, registration of inheritance, and the use of maternity capital funds.
The portal is planned to be integrated with government services, and also to connect participants in the state system of free legal assistance in all regions of Russia to it.
The Minister also recalled that in 2024, the Human Rights Commissioner in the Republic of Tatarstan and notaries joined the number of participants in the state system of free legal assistance.
In addition, the State Law Bureau of Tatarstan, created at the end of 2022, now accepts residents of the republic on the territory of the «Quarter of justice», and in 2024, a branch of the bureau in the Sabinsky District began operating.
«These changes have had a positive impact on the dynamics of legal assistance provided. According to the results of the year, there has been a 63 percent increase in the number of citizens covered by free legal assistance», - concluded Rustem Ildusovich.
