More than 2,600 draft regulatory acts at the republican level underwent legal and anti-corruption expertise in 2024

Today, at the final meeting of the board of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin outlined the key priorities of the Ministry, focusing on the coordination and improvement of the rule-making activities of the republican executive bodies. Ensuring the implementation of the Government's legislative work Plan also remains one of the main tasks.

In his speech, the Minister noted that in 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers submitted 40 bills to the State Council, 9 of which were developed in accordance with the Legislative Activity Plan and 31 - outside the Plan. In 2025, it is planned to develop and submit 9 bills to the State Council.

«Bills developed by the republican executive bodies are preliminarily discussed at meetings of the Interdepartmental coordination committee on legal issues and its Expert council. This year, the Expert council reviewed 38 bills, and 35 were reviewed at the Committee meetings», - Rustem Zagidullin emphasized.

In addition, the Minister reported on the legal and anti-corruption examination of 2,619 draft regulatory acts at the republican level conducted in 2024. These include 147 draft laws of the Republic of Tatarstan, 101 draft decrees, and 2,371 draft resolutions.

In his speech, the Minister also recalled that regulatory legal acts of the republican executive bodies enter into legal force only after state registration and official publication, including on the Legal Information Portal of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2024, 1,737 acts were submitted for registration, of which 1,586 successfully passed the procedure. About 5% of the documents were returned to the developers due to inconsistencies with the law and legal deficiencies.

By January 1, 2025, 336,280 acts were posted on the Official portal of legal information of Tatarstan. In 2024, the Ministry of Justice published 43,673 documents.
