Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan will join the volunteer movement at the Republican iftar
Recently, Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of Tatarstan, signed a decree on determining the dates of the main muslim holidays in 2025: Uraza Bayram will be celebrated on March 30, and Kurban Bayram on June 6.
March 1 marks the beginning of the muslim holy month of Ramadan, when believers fast. The evening of revelry, which will be the main event of the month, will be held on March 19 at KAZAN EXPO. It is expected that this majlis will gather about 13 thousand muslims from all over Tatarstan.
Guests of the XIII Republican iftar will be served by 800 volunteers. Among them is Adilya Khasanova, leading counselor of the department of legal expertise and rulemaking of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Volunteers will start their work already on March 17. They will have to prepare the venue of the majlis, put it in order and prepare food. They will also meet guests and organize the reading of collective namaz.
Residents of Tatarstan from 16 years old can become a volunteer at the Republican iftar, for this purpose it is necessary to leave an application on the official website. As Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized, «Your desire to be useful, to help is worthy of the highest praise. Volunteering is a state of mind».
