The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan published a resolution on the appointment of elections of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan published a resolution «On the appointment of elections of the Head (Rais) of the Republic of Tatarstan» on the Official Legal Information Portal of the Republic. According to the document, the elections are scheduled for September 14, 2025.
This decision was supported by deputies at the tenth session of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the seventh convocation, which was held today.
The resolution comes into force from the day of its official publication. In the near future the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan will start organizing the election process in accordance with the legislation.
The elections of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan are held on the basis of universal equal and direct suffrage by secret ballot.
