During the All-Russian week of legal assistance on issues of protecting family interests in the Republic of Tatarstan, legal assistance was provided at many venues in various formats. About 5 700 events were held, including seminars, round tables, trainings and consultations on legal issues, said First Deputy Minister of Justice Ilya Gomzik. About 234 000 Tatarstan residents took part in legal events.
Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has repeatedly emphasized that «legal education of the younger generation is no less relevant. Legal scholars, practicing lawyers, employees of state authorities and local governments are working together on this task».
Speaking live on the Regional public reception office in the Republic of Tatarstan, the First Deputy Minister noted that the All-Russian week of legal assistance on issues of protecting family interests is being held for the second year in a row. Events within the framework of the Week were held throughout Tatarstan from July 7 to 13. For comparison, last year over 1 700 events were held, covering over 61 thousand people.
In addition to educational events, 176 legal assistance points were organized. About
4 500 residents of the republic received consultations on legal issues. Mostly, large families, parents of disabled children, guardians, as well as participants in a special military operation and their relatives sought legal assistance. Most often, Tatarstan residents were interested in issues of social security, land law, inheritance, labor legislation and health care
According to Ilya Aleksandrovich, the legal assistance week became an effective support for families facing legal difficulties. «In the conditions of modern society, where the rights and responsibilities of citizens can sometimes be unclear, this initiative serves as a bridge between legal assistance and the social needs of families», - he concluded.
