Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin took part in a meeting with a delegation from Hubei Province
Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with the Chairman of the People's Political Consultative Conference of Hubei Province (China) Sun Wei. The meeting was held within the framework of the III forum of Russian-Chinese cooperation «ROSTKI» in «Kazan Expo». The Minister of Justice of the Republic Rustam Zagidullin also participated in it.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted the great potential for cooperation between Tatarstan and Hubei Province. Today, the Republic signed intergovernmental agreements with 8 regions of China. The day before, Kazan and Wuhan signed a memorandum of intent on cooperation.
Hubei is a region in the east of central China. The population exceeds 58.3 million people. The capital and largest city is Wuhan. In the industrial sector, the mining, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemical, petrochemical, automotive, and pharmaceutical industries are developed. Hubei also produces building materials, electronics, natural silk, high-tech products and bioengineering.
