In Sarmanovo, employees of the magistrates' offices were awarded in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Tatarstan justice system.
A celebratory event commemorating the 25th anniversary of the justices of the peace in the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Sarmanovo. Representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, along with the head of the Sarmanovsky District and the chairperson of the district court, presented letters of gratitude to the staff of the justices of the peace in the district.
During the event, it was noted that a quarter of a century is a significant milestone for the institution of justice of the peace in the republic. Over these years, justices of the peace and their staff have become a reliable pillar of the judicial system, ensuring accessibility and promptness of justice for the residents of Tatarstan. Statistics demonstrate the intensity of their work: in the first six months of this year, the first judicial district heard 977 cases and materials, and the second, 1,276.
Significant resources have been invested in the justice of the peace system in the republic over these 25 years. A comprehensive and systemic solution to key issues related to the work of justices of the peace and their staff, thanks to the support of the Rais of the Republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, is being implemented within the framework of the state program «Development of Justice in the Republic of Tatarstan».
The program includes logistical support and major renovations of court buildings. Specifically, a major renovation of the building housing the courts of justices of the peace in the Sarmanovsky District is planned for 2026. This will significantly improve the working conditions of employees and make visiting the courts more comfortable for citizens.
