Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan: Participants of the SMO and their families can receive free legal assistance
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan warns of cases of fraud against special military operation participants and their relatives and reminds them of the possibility of receiving free legal assistance.
In the Republic of Tatarstan, cases of fraud by unscrupulous lawyers who extort money from special military operation participants and their family members for services provided free of charge by the state have become more frequent.
Deputy head of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafael Giniatullov explains: «Special military operation participants, as well as their family members, have the right to receive free legal assistance regarding military personnel's pay, benefits, social guarantees and compensation, recognition of special military operation participants as missing or deceased, and in other cases stipulated by law».
Free legal assistance is available at the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan, located at 124 Khadi Taktasha Street, Kazan. Citizens can also use digital services.
«Application «Resident card of the Republic of Tatarstan» has a special section called «Life situations» with six sections, including information for SMO participants and their families on injury benefits and loan write-offs. Perhaps reviewing these materials will be sufficient, but if not, you can always contact specialists», - explained First Deputy Minister of Justice Ilya Gomzik.
The Tatarstan Ministry of Justice urges citizens to be vigilant and reminds that the Ministry's official website provides a list of lawyers available for free assistance with SMO-related issues.
