A large-scale tree planting event took place in Tatarstan as part of the All-Russian «Save the forest» campaign. The event held in support of the national «Ecological well-being» project, annually brings together thousands of residents of the republic who strive to contribute to environmental conservation.
Employees of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan traditionally joined the campaign and made a significant contribution, planting over 1500 tree saplings in the forest near the village of Voronovka in the Laishevsky District.
«We consider it our duty to support important environmental initiatives, as the quality of life for future generations depends on them. Every sapling is a contribution to the green future of our beloved republic», - the Ministry noted.
The All-Russian project unites all 89 regions of the country and aims to plant 70 million trees. According to the organizers, this year, through the joint efforts of the campaign's participants, 2.5 million saplings were planted in 142 specially prepared sites across all districts of Tatarstan.
