As part of a state program 11 court buildings will be renovated in Tatarstan in 2026
Today at an off-site meeting of the board of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, the results of work to support the activities of justices of the peace in 2025 were summarized.
Deputy Minister of Justice Marat Nizamiyev began his speech by congratulating his colleagues on the anniversary. He stated that in honor of this occasion, the Ministry organized a number of events in accordance with the plan approved by the Council of Judges of the Republic. The total funding for the anniversary events amounted to over 122 million rubles.
Under the state program «Development of Justice in the Republic of Tatarstan», 1 149.6 million rubles have been allocated for the logistical, informational and organizational support of justices of the peace in 2025.
A significant achievement of the year was the major renovation of the courthouse in Mendeleyevsk. Over 43 million rubles were allocated for this purpose. The building was officially reopened after the renovation. «This is clear evidence of the attention being paid to the development of judicial infrastructure in our republic», - noted Marat Nizamiyev.
Major renovations of court buildings in the Muslyumovsky and Arsky judicial districts were also completed in 2025. The court buildings were not simply renovated but comprehensively modernized: roofs were replaced, the grounds were landscaped, modern security systems were installed, office equipment and furniture were updated.
The Deputy Minister of Justice announced that major renovations are planned for 11 buildings in various districts of the republic in 2026, including three buildings in Kazan, as well as buildings in Yelabuga, Kukmor, Aktanysh, Bolshiye Kaibitsy, Verkhniy Uslon, Vysokaya Gora, Dubyazi and Sarmanovo.
Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin repeatedly emphasized that an important factor in public trust in the judicial system is the accessibility of courts, particularly in terms of their location and the appearance of the building housing the court.
The collegium traditionally concluded with an awards ceremony. Marat Nizamiyev reported that as part of the anniversary celebrations, more than 100 employees of the magistrates' offices with over 15 years of service in the judicial system were awarded departmental awards, and two were awarded the state medal «For valiant labor».
«This is a well-deserved recognition of their many years of dedicated service to the law and justice», - the Deputy Minister emphasized, adding that the awards process is not yet complete and all prepared awards will be presented before the end of the calendar year.
