On the «Morning on the radio» program, First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilya Aleksandrovich Gomzik spoke about the annual national competition for experts in independent anti-corruption assessments.
«The competition is held annually. We accept applications from experts from october 1st to 30th, review the submissions, the competition committee awards points and as has become traditional, on International anti-corruption day, december 9th, we announce the winners and hold an awards ceremony», - noted Ilya Gomzik.
The First Deputy Minister of Justice urged potential participants to submit their applications immediately: «I'm taking this opportunity to invite all accredited independent experts in our republic to participate in the competition. We have less than 10 days left until the application deadline, so don't leave it until the last minute! This is an excellent opportunity not only to receive recognition for your work and a substantial monetary reward, but also to make a real contribution to the development of Tatarstan's legal system».
During the interview, the requirements for competition participants were outlined. Participants must be residents of Tatarstan with no outstanding tax debts and accredited by the Ministry of Justice of Russia as anti-corruption experts. An important requirement is the availability of audit reports on regulatory or municipal acts implemented between september of last year and august of this year. Civil servants, municipal employees and those who have won the competition in the past two years are not eligible.
