«Fire» was extinguished in the building of the justices of the peace in Kazan as part of an exercise
Smoke in the hallways, evacuation of people and the work of fire crews - emergency response exercises were practiced in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan. The Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Main directorate of the Federal bailiff service for the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a large-scale fire drill in the buildings of justices of the peace courts. Professional rescuers from the Main directorate of the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia for Tatarstan and an ambulance crew also joined the operation.
According to the drill scenario, a fire suddenly engulfed the office of the court. The alarm immediately triggered a chain of actions by emergency services. Court bailiffs responsible for maintaining the established order of the courts immediately began an organized evacuation of employees and visitors from the building.
«The main goal of such drills is to test the efficiency and coordination of all departments in emergency situations», - noted deputy minister of justice Marat Nizamiyev.
Particular attention was paid to rescuing a person who, according to the drill scenario, was unable to leave the building on his own. Firefighters quickly located and removed the simulated victim from the smoke-filled building.
Following the main part of the event, firefighters conducted a demonstration for court staff, demonstrating the proper techniques for using fire extinguishers in the event of a fire.
