The Ministry of justice of Tatarstan, together with the Ministry of emergency situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, are reminding the reader of the procedure to follow when discovering unattended objects

In the context of the tragic events in Krasnogorsk, the Ministry of emergency situations urges citizens to observe the following critical safety measures if they discover suspicious, unattended objects.

A reminder for everyone

DO NOT:

• touch, move or open the object;
• use a mobile phone nearby;
• allow children or other people near the find.

DO:

• immediately move to a safe distance;
• report the find by calling 112;
• warn others;
• wait for emergency services to arrive.

Special attention – children!

• explain to your child: do not touch toys, phones, bags or money found on the street;
• teach them to immediately report any suspicious find to an adult;
• learn the number 112 together.

Where dangerous objects can be found:

• public transportation;
• entryways and courtyards;
• shopping malls;
• playgrounds;
• educational institutions.

Remember: an apparently ordinary item (a bag, a toy, a box) can be dangerous!
