The Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan held its final meeting of the Certification commission for the offices of justices of the peace this year.

In 2025, a total of 21 meetings of the Certification commissions were held at the Ministry of justice and the offices of justices of the peace, evaluating 260 civil servants. Of these, the majority—203—recognized as suitable for the positions held.

«Certification is an important tool for assessing the professionalism of civil servants. During the process, each employee's performance and their compliance with the specific requirements of their position are objectively analyzed», - emphasized Tatyana Latyeva, head of the department of human resources and civil service at the ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Almost every fifth employee assessed was recommended by the commission for inclusion in the personnel reserve—this is the highest assessment for civil servants and an opportunity for further professional growth.

Seven employees were assigned additional professional training to ensure they remain qualified for their positions and only one civil servant was deemed unqualified for the position.

Tatyana Yuryevna noted that civil servants are assessed every three years, in accordance with the state program «Development of the сivil service of the Republic of Tatarstan and municipal service in the Republic of Tatarstan». «The assessment schedule for the upcoming year is approved annually in december», - she added.
