Friends! We remind you that in the Year of defender of the Fatherland, declared by Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Ministry of justice of Tatarstan has created a photo project about war heroes—our families and loved ones.

Employees and veterans of the Ministry shared the stories of their relatives who defended their homeland during the Great Patriotic war. Behind each photograph lies the fate of someone who demonstrated courage and fortitude during the country's most difficult times.
