An event dedicated to the International day of the disabled persons was held in Kazan to provide free legal assistance. The reception of citizens is organized by the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of representatives of various government agencies.
Pension recalculation turned out to be the most relevant topic for Kazan residents. Experts emphasize that the reasons for requests for recalculation may vary, but not all of them are legitimate grounds for changing the amount of payments.
«Any pensioner, both working and unemployed, has the right to apply to the Social fund of Russia with a request to recalculate the assigned amount of the pension», - the lawyers who participated in the consultations explained.
To recalculate a pension, citizens can apply in several ways: by personally visiting the territorial office of the SFR at their place of residence, through a multifunctional center, through a personal account on the Public services portal or on the SFR website. The deadline for consideration of the application is 5 working days from the date of receipt of the documents in accordance with the Administrative regulations of the PFR.
A total of 18 citizens applied for legal assistance, asking 23 questions. The consultations were conducted by lawyers from the State legal bureau of Tatarstan, lawyers, notaries, representatives of territorial bodies of federal and republican executive authorities and the prosecutor's office.
«Holding such events is of particular importance for people with disabilities. The single reception format has helped residents with disabilities to get the necessary consultations in one place, saving them from the difficulties of contacting various organizations», - said first deputy minister Ilya Gomzik. According to him, the Ministry's task is to provide everyone with the opportunity to receive qualified legal assistance.
Most often citizens asked questions about inheritance, shared-equity construction, consumer protection, pension recalculation and provision of medicines.
