Deputy minister Mukharryam Ibyatov spoke about the new law on local self-government

According to information presented by Mukharryam Mansurovich on the «Glavnyye novosti» program on the «Tatarstan 24» television channel, the main goals and objectives of the new Federal law «On general principles of local self-government organization in a unified system of public authority» include:

• implementation of updated provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation
• integration of local self-government into a unified system of public authority.

The deputy minister emphasized that a «unified system of public authority» is a constitutional principle enshrined in the 2020 amendments. This principle presupposes coordinated and effective interaction between all levels of government:

• federal
• regional (subjects of the Russian Federation)
• local self-government
