Prospects for developing civilian unmanned aerial vehicle production were discussed at the Ministry of justice of Tatarstan. A project on this topic was presented by Rustem Nigmatzyanov, a winner of the «Batyrlar: Heroes of Tatarstan» program for veterans and participants of the special military operation, assigned to the Ministry.

The meeting was chaired by Ilya Gomzik, first deputy minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan. Also participating were Elvir Yakupov, vice rector for strategic development and economics, and Dinar Latypov and Niyaz Khamzin, other winners of the «Batyrlar: Heroes of Tatarstan» program for veterans and participants of the special military operation.

The participants discussed the creation of a full-cycle production of unmanned aerial systems in Russia. Experts believe that drones are becoming a critical tool in various sectors, from defense and logistics to agriculture and industry.

«The global market for unmanned solutions will exceed $100 billion by 2030. The russian segment is showing annual growth of over 25%. For mapping, monitoring and agricultural purposes alone, the country needs tens of thousands of devices annually», - noted Rustem Nigmatzyanov.

The project's main advantage is ensuring technological sovereignty through domestic production of all key components: from motors and circuit boards to navigation systems and specialized software.

Experts estimate that the creation of such a production facility will boost the development of related industries and create up to 5 000 high-tech jobs. The plan is to create an entire cluster, including a production core, a network of service centers and operator training facilities.

During the meeting, it was also noted that russian technologies, designed for harsh operating conditions, will be in demand in friendly markets in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
