The final meeting of the Republic's Council of judges for the year was held at the Supreme Court of Tatarstan. The main topic of discussion was the organization of the work of justices of the peace and their offices in 2025.
In his speech, the Republic's minister of justice, Rustem Zagidullin, noted that, with the support of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, electronic communication with the Ministry of internal affairs of the Russian Federation, the Federal service for state registration, cadastre and cartography, and the Federal tax service was established in 2025.
According to the minister, approximately 43 000 such requests were previously sent by mail annually. «Since august of this year, when the electronic communication system began operating, 1 104 requests have already been sent: 470 to the Ministry of internal affairs, 409 to Roscadastr and 225 to the Federal tax service», - he added.
The minister specifically highlighted the quality of work of the offices of justices of the peace. In 2025, the Ministry of justice of Tatarstan conducted an audit of office work in eight judicial districts, comprising 31 judicial precincts. The Ministry of justice of the Republic is working extensively on training and professional development for justices of the peace and their staffs.
«This year, 105 justices of the peace staff members completed training at the Kazan cooperative institute. 40 justices of the peace trained at the Russian state university of justice, and 14 completed retraining», - said Rustem Zagidullin. The Ministry also operates an internship program for new justices of the peace staff members. In 2025, 124 new employees completed internships.
Staff stability was also addressed. The minister noted that staff turnover was 20% over the first 11 months of 2025. For comparison, this figure was 29% for the same period in 2024. The minister emphasized that this year, salaries for justices of the peace have increased by 20-30% compared to december 2024.
Following the meeting, the Council of judges gave a positive assessment of the Ministry of justice's work in providing material and technical support for justices of the peace in 2025.
