More than 750 SMO participants and their families received free legal assistance in Tatarstan
Every thursday lawyers from the State law bureau hold receptions at the fund «Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation», where they provide free consultations to the participants of the SMO and their relatives. In a year and a half of such work, they have already helped 750 people.
The State law bureau of Tatarstan and the fund «Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation» began working together on june 9 2023 and since then the number of appeals has been constantly growing. If only 62 people came for help in the first year of work, then in 2024 there were already 261 of them. And in 2025, specialists have already consulted more than 450 citizens.
«We see that people really need this support. They apply for various issues, including restoring the passport of a Russian citizen, receiving monetary allowances, granting leave and registering a disability, - the State law bureau says. - Many people simply do not know their rights or face difficulties when applying for documents. Our task is to ensure that defenders and their families receive everything they are legally entitled to».
In total, during the period of the agreement, the lawyers conducted more than 95 reception days.
