Tatarstan launches a five-year overhaul program for the buildings of judicial precincts of magistrates
In 2026, Tatarstan will launch a large-scale program of major repairs of judicial precincts of magistrates. The program includes 44 buildings. This was announced by the Minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan at a joint meeting of the Department of the Ministry of justice of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan and the board of the Ministry of justice of the Republic.
«Such a large-scale program will undoubtedly significantly improve the working conditions of magistrates and provide more comfortable conditions for citizens applying to the court», - Rustem Zagidullin emphasized.
In Tatarstan, justice is administered by 190 justices of the peace, who reviewed 692 516 cases in 2025 alone. The Ministry of justice of the Republic continues to work to create optimal conditions for the effective administration of justice.
«For many years, we could not resolve the issue of locating the judicial district of the justice of the peace in the Muslyumovsky district. In March 2025, thanks to the support of the district, the justice of the peace and his office moved to a new building in decent conditions», - the minister said.
According to him, the program of major repairs of judicial areas is being implemented thanks to the decision of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov. It is part of the state program «Development of justice in the Republic of Tatarstan».
