The Minister of justice of Tatarstan took part in the meeting of the Expert сouncil on human rights
Key areas of activity in the field of protection of citizens' rights were discussed today at an expanded meeting of the Expert council under the Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by the Minister of justice of the Republic Rustem Zagidullin.
According to the data presented at the meeting in 2025 the Commissioner's Office received 8401 appeals from citizens. Among the most pressing issues were the protection of the rights of military personnel and conscripts, housing and communal services and social security.
Earlier, the Minister noted that legal support for participants in a special military operation remains one of the priorities of the Ministry of justice of the Republic. In 2025 legal assistance was provided to 2605 citizens of this category.
