The Ministry of justice of Tatarstan recalled the acceptance of applications for the Derzhavin Award
At a staff meeting, the Minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin instructed to step up work on accepting applications for the Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin Republican award.
On behalf of the minister, the Ministry announced the acceptance of works by applicants for the annual Republican award with a prize fund of 200 thousand rubles. The award is given to the authors of scientific research monographs in the field of law, which have received wide public recognition, created in Russian and (or) tatar languages and popularize the work of G. R. Derzhavin.
Publications published within the last five years are allowed to participate, however, submitted works must not exceed the limitation period of one year before being nominated for the competition. Candidates may be nominated by republican executive authorities, government agencies, research institutes, educational institutions, cultural organizations and municipalities.

Emphasizing the importance of the event, Rustem Zagidullin noted: «For Gavriil Romanovich the main values were love for the Fatherland, loyalty to duty to the state and the law. These ideals remain in demand in our time».
