For the first time, this exhibition was presented to the general public at the XII St. Petersburg international legal forum in june 2024. Currently, the exhibition is successfully demonstrated in most regions of the country.
A large-scale research project has been prepared by the Ministry of Justice of Russia with the support of the Russian historical society, «History of the Fatherland» Foundation and the Gosfilmofond of Russia.
In his welcoming speech, Rustem Zagidullin emphasized the special importance of holding the exhibition in the year declared the Year of military and labor valor in the Republic of Tatarstan, and noted the importance of preserving historical memory for the formation of civic identity.
«The exhibition reminds us of the need to protect the national interests and sovereignty of our country. This exhibition is especially relevant in the context of the Year of military and labor valor in Tatarstan, because it was the courage and selfless work of our ancestors that allowed us to preserve the independence and integrity of Russia during the most difficult periods of history», - the minister said.
The uniqueness of the exhibition lies in the fact that, for the first time, historical facts are combined in a single space, revealing the anti-russian orientation of western countries' policies and demonstrating the centuries-old history of the struggle for Russia's state sovereignty. Visitors can get acquainted with a variety of exhibits – documents, photographs and video materials testifying to attempts of foreign interference in the internal affairs of our country over the centuries: from the Time of Troubles to the present.
