A meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today. As part of the main agenda of the meeting, Tatyana Latyeva, Head of the Human Resources and Civil Service Department, made a report on the activities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of anti-corruption in 2025.
«The Ministry carries out systematic cooperation with subordinate institutions in terms of implementing the requirements of anti-corruption legislation. Throughout the year, methodological and consulting work was carried out aimed at preventing conflicts of interest and complying with legal requirements», - Tatiana Latyeva reported.
According to her, in 2025, the heads of subordinate institutions took part in a specialized seminar on conflict of interest resolution and the correct filling out of income declarations. To improve anti-corruption literacy, 7 information and methodological materials on relevant topics were sent to subordinate organizations.
Tatiana Latyeva also noted that in the reporting period, the approved annual work plan of the Commission under the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan on combating corruption was fully implemented. In 2025, no cases of non-compliance with anti-corruption requirements requiring the application of legal liability measures were identified.
In addition, the event was marked by an important organizational event – the Chairman of the Public Council, Anas Gataullin, announced his retirement from this post.
Anas Gazizovich, who has headed the council since January 2011, addressed the audience with a farewell speech: «I would like to thank all the members of the public council for our joint work over the years. Today I made a decision and wrote a statement. I think it's time to hand over the reins to the young».
The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustem Zagidullin, highly appreciated the contribution of Anas Gataullin to the work of the Council: «If we look at this 15-year path, we can say with confidence that it was successful for the Public Council. The Council has always been in good standing in the Public Chamber. The projects that originated here, including thanks to the personal initiative of Anas Gazizovich, were positively evaluated and recommended for implementation by other Public Councils».
The Minister also noted that Anas Gazizovich's departure is a great loss for the Ministry, given his extensive experience in government, scientific and judicial work. At the same time, the Ministry respects the decision taken and the doors of the Ministry of Justice will always be open to Anas Gazizovich Gataullin.
In a solemn ceremony, the minister presented Anas Gazizovich with a state award — the medal «100 years of formation of the TASSR».
The issue of appointing a new chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan will be resolved in the near future in accordance with the established procedure.
