The state has strengthened the protection of property for large families
On April 3 of this year, the Federal Law «On Amendments to Article 446 of the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation» comes into force, providing additional protection for the property of large families from debt collection. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan.
The law expands the list of property that cannot be seized through enforcement proceedings.
«Enforcement immunity now extends to a land plot provided to a citizen free of charge as a social support measure for large families, or the citizen's share in such a land plot, except in cases where the plot is mortgaged. The only vehicle of a large family owned by a member of the family is also protected», - explains First Deputy Minister Ilya Gomzik.
