The Government of the Republic of Tatarstan is systematically developing measures to provide financial support, social rehabilitation, and employment assistance to special military operation participants and their families. This was announced by Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin during a meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin also participated in the meeting.

Previously, the Tatarstan Ministry of Justice reported that various benefits and social support measures are available in the Republic of Tatarstan for special military operation participants and their families. A significant number of support measures have been established at the municipal level.

As of April 1, 2026, the municipal registry included information on 3 082 support measures across 16 different categories. Importantly, this support covers all key areas of life — from tax breaks to children's education and psychological support.
