Information about cases considered by the justices of the peace must be posted on the Official Portal of the Justices of the Peace of the Republic of Tatarstan. This requirement is established by the Federal Law "On Ensuring Access to Information on the Activities of Courts in the Russian Federation" and the Resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of Russia. Yulia Mikhailova, Head of the Department of Organizational and Legal Support for the activities of magistrates, explained: "The registration numbers of cases, their names, the subject of the dispute, information about the participants in the process and information about the issuance of judicial acts are published on the Portal. This information is available to all citizens." According to her, there are only a limited number of exceptions to the general rule: "Judicial acts containing information concerning state security, family and legal relations, the rights of minors, as well as decisions on hospitalization are not subject to publication," Yulia Mikhailova clarified. The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan urges citizens to be aware of the possible consequences of violating the law, including the inevitability of publicity of the trial.
