Information about cases considered by the justices of the peace is required to be posted on the Official Portal of Justices of the Peace of the Republic of Tatarstan.
This requirement is established by the Federal Law «On Ensuring Access to Information on the Activities of Courts in the Russian Federation» and the Resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of Russia.
Yulia Mikhailova, Head of the Department of Organizational and Legal Support of Justices of the Peace, explained: «The Portal publishes case registration numbers, their names, the subject of the dispute, information about the parties to the proceedings, and details of the issuance of judicial decisions. This information is accessible to all citizens».
According to her, there are only a limited number of exceptions to the general rule: «Judicial decisions containing information concerning national security, family law relations, the rights of minors, and decisions on hospitalization are not subject to publication», - Yulia Mikhailova clarified.
The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan urges citizens to be aware of the potential consequences of violating the law, including the inevitability of public trial proceedings.
