Ministry of Justice employees honored the memory of their veterans

8 May 2026, Friday

In anticipation of May 9, and in pursuance of the Action Plan for the Year of Military and Labor Valor at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, employees, following a long-standing tradition, visited the graves of former department leaders, including those who participated in the Great Patriotic War.

The staff tidied up the memorial sites themselves: they removed dead wood and debris accumulated over the winter, cleaned the gravestones of dirt, and painted the metal fences. After the improvement, flowers were laid at the graves as a sign of deep respect for the heroism of the defenders of the Fatherland.

«We consider it our duty to care for the graves of those who defended our country. It is important for us to remember and honor their memory», - noted Deputy Head of Department Dilyara Podtelkova.

This initiative, which has become a good tradition at the ministry, emphasizes the importance of maintaining historical continuity between generations of civil servants. The department has held similar patriotic events regularly for many years, as caring for the burial sites of heroes is not only a tribute to the past but also a contribution to fostering a sense of responsibility to history in future generations of lawyers.
