Employees of the apparatuses of justices of the peace in the Nizhnekamsky district were reminded of fire safety rules

16 July 2026, Thursday

A scheduled occupational safety briefing was held for employees of the apparatuses of judicial precincts № 2 to № 12 in the Nizhnekamsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event took place with the participation of fire and rescue service personnel and included a practical demonstration of fire extinguishing.

Occupational safety briefings are conducted twice a year in all judicial districts of the republic to maintain the necessary level of knowledge among civil servants.

During the event, a fire service employee practically demonstrated the danger of an incorrect approach to extinguishing a fire. The experiment showed that attempts to pour water on burning oil or fat in containers lead to the splashing of hot liquid and the rapid spread of flames. The correct and safe method turned out to be immediately cutting off the oxygen supply: by covering the source with a tight lid or baking sheet, the employee quickly and safely extinguished the fire.

Lenar Gainiev, Head of the Department for Ensuring the Activities of Justices of the Peace at the Ministry, emphasized the importance of regularly conducting such practical exercises: «Prevention is better than dealing with the consequences. Thanks to such briefings involving fire service professionals, our employees receive up-to-date knowledge about safety rules. It is this practice-based approach, rather than abstract knowledge, that makes judicial precincts more secure».
