Meeting of the Public Council of the Ministry of Justice

August 28, 2014, a regular meeting of the Public Council of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan L.Y.Gluhova took place in the Ministry of Justice.

Chairman of the Public Council A.G.Gataullin spoke about participation in national events dedicated to the issues of the public councils and of carrying out the functions of public control.

Also were reviewed the results of monitoring the opinions of citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan about corruption conducted by the Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on the socio-economic monitoring in 2014. In that context, the deputy chairman of the Public Council A.M.Chashin suggested the Public Council to participate in the process of improving methods of monitoring the activities of the authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan on the implementation of anti-corruption policy.

Members of the Public Council considered and approved the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan "On Amendments to the Model Regulation on the Public Council of the Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan".

The first experience of the participation of members of the Public Council in verifying the implementation of anti-corruption measures undertaken by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, was shared to members of the Public Council and N.M.Pruss, S.N.Druzhkov. Taking into account the results of the audit, as well as taking into account the initiative of the Public Council to hold a joint meeting with one of the public councils at the authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan, was proposed to hold such event with the Public Council of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In conclusion, an action plan of establishing an independent quality assessment of the state (municipal) institutions providing social services in the Republic of Tatarstan, for the period 2014 - 2016, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan from 21.04.2014 № 709-p was considered.
