Every year on 9th of December is celebrated the International day of fighting corruption, established by the General Assembly of the Organization of unitednations.
Since the signing of the Russian Federation the Convention OUN againstcorruption in our country carried out a range of measures for the warning and theprevention of corruption offenses and crimes.
Tatarstan is also actively involved in the work. The Republic was among the first Russian regions adopted a law on combating corruption. Today, at the national and municipal levels, formed a package of anti-corruption regulations. Consistently and systematically implemented anti-corruption programs, the main focus of which is made in the eradication of the causes of corruption.
Effective prevention tool was the work of the Commission on the coordination of anti-corruption in the Republic of Tatarstan (the Council by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on combating corruption). In recent years, measures have been taken in key economic sectors: construction, agriculture, education and health care, with the use of budget funds and property.
To minimize the risk of corruption contributes to the active development of the republic in an electronic project "Open Tatarstan", within the framework of which operates the portal "State and municipal services", and also information systems such as the "People's control" and "People's examination." They are designed to provide further transparency of activity government bodies and participation of every citizen of the republic in management decisions. Thecontribution to the prevention of corruption was made by social organizations and civil society institutions.
Modern Tatarstan - dynamically developing region, aimed at increasing its investment attractiveness, competitiveness and build innovative capacity.
To achieve these aims is calculated adopted Strategy of the socio-economic development of Tatarstan till 2030. The decision of its aims depends on the state of law and order in the country, reduction of administrative barriers, to protect the interests, rights and freedoms of citizens.
