New in legislation about local self government

On 23rd of January, 2017 came into force the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan on11th of January, 2017 № 3-LRT "About prevention of offenses in the Republic of Tatarstan".
The document regulates certain public relations arising in the field of crime prevention on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Defined powers of the Republic of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan,the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, local authorities in the field of crime prevention.
The Law of the Republic of Tatartsan dated from 13th of October, 2008 № 105-LRT "About prevention of offenses in the Republic of Tatarstan" is recognized as invalid.

The Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan held a seminar-meeting with local governments on the issue of publishing municipal legal acts on the Official portal of legal information of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was chaired by deputy minister of justice Mukharryam Ibyatov.
Fire and tactical exercises were held in the Mamadyshsky district of Tatarstan. Rescuers, staff of magistrates' offices and emergency services trained in the courthouse to practice actions in case of fire and rescue of people.
The Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan draws the attention of residents to the activation of telephone fraudsters using the so-called «short call» scheme. More and more citizens are faced with a situation when a call comes from an unknown number, which lasts only a couple of seconds and immediately ends.

Today, the fourth and final meeting of the Public council under the Ministry took place. During 2025, the Public council carried out systematic work in key areas of the Ministry's activities, exercising public control and facilitating the work of the Ministry.
