New in legislation on local self-government

The Law of the Republic of Tatarstan from 13th of November 2017 №79-LRT amended the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan on 25 December 2010 № 98-LRT "On town-planning development in the Republic of Tatarstan" in order to bring it in line with federal legislation.

At the federal level, the provisions of the Town-planning code of the Russian Federation have been amended, including with regard to clarifying the procedure and timeframes for verifying and approving the planning documentation for the territory (Federal Law № 191-FL of 26 July 2017 "On amendments to the Town-planning code of the Russian Federation and recognition some provisions of the legislative acts of the Russian Federation have lost force ").

Similar changes were made to the republican legislation on town-planning activity. Taking into account the changes introduced, the timeframe for verifying the documentation for the planning of the territory by the executive authority of the republic authorized in the field of town planning activities was reduced from 30 to 25 days, the deadline for approval of the said documentation by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan is from 14 to 5 days.

Ensuring the publication of documentation on the planning of the territory and placement of information on such documentation on the site of the municipality is entrusted to the authorized local government body.
