The last Friday, 12th October, 2012 saw a noteworthy event in social life for region centre Urussu. The new modern House of judge of peace opened its doors in public. The republican Minister of Justice Midkhat Kurmanov, Chairman of the Supreme Court of Tatarstan Ilgiz Gilazov, head of the Yutazinskiy district’s administration Rustem Nuriev and representatives of district and town courts in the south-east of Tatarstan were among the participants of that solemn opening ceremony.
It should be noted that dilapidated building that belonged to the then administration of district’s hospital used to host local justice court before. But a year ago it was decided to relegate the ground floor of what was back then a centre for extramural activities into the possession of justice court. But to make the above home-warming a living reality, much work must have been completed. And the mission was accomplished in the long run.
Rustam Nuriev, district’s head, while making a speech in an occasion noted that the deputies of the district’s council contributed a lot – as a result “joint forces – of district’s budget assisted by local contributors - came onto the stage to timely and with high quality complete the task”. The republican coffers helped to furnish the building. And in turn the Minister of Justice extended his promise to help deliver new office equipment as part of the 2013 program.
To cut the story short, now the personnel at justice court “feel themselves like bugs in the rug” – there is 200 sq. meters at their office disposal, a spacious chamber hall for court proceedings, there is also room for archive, numerous cabinets and what not.
