On Community council meeting under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan

On 18th October, 2012 another meeting of Community council under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan was held. It was held by the chairman of Community council A.G. Gataullin.
Among the members of Community council, Minister of Justice of Tatarstan Midkhat Kurmanov and Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic S. Stolyarov took part in the meeting.
Ways to boost operating performance on the part of Community council were suffested by the council’s members. The clauses highlighted in the Address by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam N. Minnikhanov to State Coucil of the Republic of Tatarstan were referred to.
Also there were two important normative legislative acts investigated in a meeting. In a nutshell, they “set rules of the game” for community councils. The Presidential Decree (signed May 7, 2012, no. 601) “On main directions for improving state management system” (then – Decree) is one of these documents.
In accordance with the above decree development of new mechanisms to form state councils under state power bodies in Russian Federation is intended.
The Decree also provides room for action as for representatives of community councils under state power bodies in Russian Federation. They have an ability to take part in contest and attestation commissions under these bodies on the basis of parity.
In pursuance of this Decree the ruling is published by the Government of Russian Federation “ On establishing the set of normative legislative acts and other documents, including those of program nature, which are developed on the part of federal executive branch bodies, than cannot be accepted without preliminary discussions of community councils’ meetings under these federal executive branch bodies”.
Taking into account everything of the aforementioned, an amicable settlement on including chairman of Community council under the Ministry of Justice A.G. Gataullin into the Ministry’s contest commission. Also an agreement was reached on initiatives for development and adoption of the corresponding normative legislative acts which regulate organization and operation of department community councils in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Ministry of justice of Tatarstan reminds that the republic has expanded the opportunities for citizens to receive free legal assistance. The «Legal assistance» service has been launched in the mobile application «Map of a resident of the Republic of Tatarstan», which makes legal advice more accessible to all categories of the population.
The Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds residents of the republic about the possibility of submitting procedural documents to magistrates through the Unified portal of state and municipal services of the Russian Federation.
