On the activities of legal clinics in the Republic of Tatarstan

With the adoption of the law of the Republic of Tatarstan "on provision of free legal assistance to citizens in the Republic of Tatarstan, which comes into force from January 1, 2013, increasing role of legal clinics in the private sector participants in the system for the provision of free legal aid.
Yesterday, November 6, 2012, at the Institute of economy, management and law (Kazan) hosted an interregional workshop V "activities of legal clinics and legal aid to the population in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Volga Federal District, to discuss the provision of qualified legal assistance to the population, with the participation of legal clinics of higher educational institutions, as well as the work of the ûrklinik in implementing the aforementioned Act.
The seminar dealt with a lot of pressing issues relating to the activities of legal clinics in Tatarstan and the Volga Federal District, including organizational and legal bases of legal clinics, legal clinics of the universities of Kazan and other cities of the Republic, as well as training, internships, continuing education students-klinistov and other, related to the work of students and teachers in higher education legal clinics.
At the seminar there were proposals to establish a single body to coordinate the work in the Republic of urklinik, establishing an information section on the site or a single site containing information on urklinikah in the Republic: addresses, telephone numbers, hours of service, lists of citizens having the right to free legal assistance, lists of issues on which is welcome in a ûrklinikah, as well as post responses to appeals of citizens and other useful information to the public.
Following the seminar, a draft resolution on the activities of legal clinics and free services.
