Public representatives in Qualification collegium of judges of the Republic of Tatarstan are appointed

Due to the expiration of the term of powers of public representatives in Qualification collegium of Judges of the Republic of Tatarstan on January 31, 2013 at session of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Minister of Justice M.M.Kurmanov presented seven representatives of the public in Qualification collegium of Judges of the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to the legislation, selection of candidates was preceded by organizational work: november 22, 2012 in mass media the competition was declared; the commission on preliminary selection of candidates in representatives of the public in Qualification collegium of Judges of the Republic of Tatarstan affiliated with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan received proposals from the Kazan (Volga) Federal university, the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Tatarstan, The Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan branch establishment of the Russian Academy of Justice, and discussion of the proposed candidates at the commission meeting.
By a majority vote deputies supported appointment of the presented candidates in representatives of the public in Qualification collegium of Judges of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Among members of collegium approved by the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan:
professor of the civil and enterprise law department of law faculty of K(P)FU Adele Ilsiyarovich Abdullin;
associate professor of criminal trial and criminalistics of law faculty of K(P)FU Igor Olegovich Antonov;
the judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan in resignation Razina Gayzullovna Ahmetova;
deputy director of the Kazan branch of RAP for academic and educational work Lenar Askhatovich Gumerov;
vice-chairman of Association of the industrial railway transport enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan Evgeny Aleksandrovich Kuleshov;
the judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan in resignation Victor Antonovich Kuchin;
the judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan in resignation Rostislav Igorevich Sadovsky.
