In Kazan, the international scientific-practical conference devoted to the scientific activities of Prof. H.p. Sersenevica

Today in Kazan (Volga) Federal University of the international scientific-practical Conference "scientific views of Professor G.f. Šeršeneviča in modern conditions for convergence of private and public law", timed to coincide with the 150-th anniversary.
The organizers of the International Conference have Kazan (Privolzhsky) Federal University and University of Warsaw as well as the all-Russian public organization "Association of lawyers of Russia.
The holding of an International Conference on the scientific and pedagogical activities Professor G.f. Sersenevica, this event is for both Republic and Russia.
A little history: Gabriel Feliksovich Shershenevich (January 1, 1863, Kherson lips – August 31, 1912) is a prominent civil lawyer, graduate, and then Professor of Kazan, and later at the Moscow University. While working at the Kazan University G.f. Sersenevica issued a series of outstanding scientific works: "commercial law" Course (1888-1889), the "Science of civil law in Russia" (1893g), "the Russian civil law Textbook" (1894g.), "trade law" (1898), "civics" (1901-1902) and others.
Writings of Professor G.f. Sersenevica become the doctrinal foundation of many modern branches of law.
The Grand opening event was held in the Assembly Hall of the University (Imperial). In the Conference took part from the Polish side, Dean of the Faculty of law and administration of Warsaw University Krzysztof Rączka G.f. Sersenevica and grandson of master of political sciences Krzysztof Shershenevich, arrived in Kazan for the first time, and Faculty of the Warsaw University.
Opened the event by asking on behalf of the Rector of Kazan (Volga) Federal University of I.r. Gafurova greeted the participants of the Conference, the Pro-Rector on scientific work of Professor D. K. Nurgaliyev. Warmly welcomed the guests and participants of the Conference Dean of Ivan Tarkhanov and Dean of the Faculty of law and administration of Warsaw University k. Raczka, grandson of G.f. Sersenevica masters in political sciences k. Shershenevich, as well as representatives of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Mari El, the Federal Arbitration Court of the Volga district.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan I.s. Khalikov sent a greeting to the participants of the Conference, read by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, President of the Tatarstan regional branch of the Association of lawyers of Russia M.m. Kurmanov and solemnly handed the welcome text, law faculty Dean I.a. Tarhanovu.
In the framework of the Conference a ceremonial signing of the memorandum of understanding and future cooperation between the Faculty of Kazan (Volga) Federal University (Kazan, Russia) and the Faculty of law and administration of Warsaw University (Warsaw, Poland), which was signed by Deans I.o. Tarkhanov and k. Raczka.
In a festive atmosphere the grandson Sersenevica Krzysztof Shershenevich G.f. conducted rewarding of winners of contest of students ' scientific works and masters of the Faculty of Kazan (Volga) Federal University, devoted to the scientific heritage of Prof. H.p. Sersenevica.
On teachers development program at the University of Warsaw read for students of Kazan University lectures on employment law in Poland. Dean of the Law Faculty of Kazan University I.a. Tarkhanov handed Polish teachers certificates reflecting this event and confirmed continued cooperation with the University of Warsaw.
Tomorrow the Conference will continue their presentations in plenary, as well as get acquainted with the capital of the Republic during the guided tours of the city and the Kazan University.
