The Sabantuy in Rostov-na-Donu

Sabantuy Tatar National Festival has become multinational. This beautiful holiday is celebrated not only in Armenia, but also in the regions of Russia, CIS and foreign countries.
June 15, 2013 years Sabantuy held at Donskoy district in the city of Rostov-on-Don and has collected more than 700 people. The representative of Tatarstan at Sabantuy in Rostov-on-Don was Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan M.m. Kurmanov. He warmly congratulated the people and dogs start celebration event of the Sabantuy and read a congratulation of the President of Tatarstan R.n. Minnikhanov.
Ideological inspirers and organizers of the Sabantuy in regions of the Russian Federation are Tatar community organization. In Rostov-na-Donu for several years is the Tatar cultural centre "Aktaslar" ("Countrymen").
The script of this celebration is not changed for decades: wrestling on belts, running with full buckets of water and many other traditional entertainments that accompany this hilarious national holiday. In celebration of the Sabantuy held folk festivals, performances of the creative collectives of the Rostov region and the professional artists of Tatarstan.
