Results of the meeting of the Expert Council of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Committee on Legal Issues
A meeting of the Expert Council of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Committee on Legal Issues was held at the Ministry of Justice under the leadership of the Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin.
The Expert Council reviewed the draft laws of the Republic of Tatarstan "On Organising Passenger and Luggage Transportation by Taxi in the Republic of Tatarstan" and "On Repealing Certain Legislative Acts (Provisions of Legislative Acts) of the Republic of Tatarstan".
The republican bill on cabs is developed according to the federal legislation.
According to Head of the Department of Transport of the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Hisamutdinov, the bill stipulates that a legal entity or individual entrepreneur to carry out activities for transportation of passengers and luggage by cab is issued for five years, a natural person shall be issued such permit for five years or a shorter period specified in the application.
"The body of a passenger cab must comply with the white or yellow color scheme, which facilitates the identification of a passenger cab," he added.
At the end of the meeting, the bills were approved and will be submitted in due course to the Interdepartmental Coordinating Committee on Legal Matters.
