Meeting of the Committee on awarding the Republican Prize named after G.R. Derzhavin in 2023

This week the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin took part in the meeting of the Committee on the Republican Prize named after Gavriil Derzhavin, which was held in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Republican Prize named after Gavriil Derzhavin - a prize in the field of literature and jurisprudence - was established by the Decree of the President of Tatarstan in 2016. In 2020, this decree was amended, and now the prize is awarded alternately.

In 2022, the prize was awarded in the field of jurisprudence, in 2023 - in literature. Poets, writers and lawyers widely known in Russia and Tatarstan became laureates of the prize.

Voting for the laureates of the Republican Prize is held secretly. The solemn award ceremony with the participation of members of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held on July 14, the 280th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet and outstanding statesman Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin.
